Chiminazzo was born to parents Ernani and Ivone. She grew up in Muçum, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She has two sisters, Grace (6 years older) and Jéssica (5 years younger). She was discovered in 1998 at the age of 13 by a Brazilian actor who recommended her to a modeling agency.[citation needed] On August 23, 2013 she married British businessman Oliver Ripley; the 3 day wedding took place at Villa Erba on Lake Como, Italy and was attended with guests from all over the world, the night ended with an amazing firework display from the lake. The day before the wedding the couple and their guests all wore 1920′s dress for a fabulous pre wedding Gatsby themed party complete with 20′s bands, Charleston dancers and casino tables at the prestigious CastaDiva resort in Blevio.
